CEBHA+
The Collaboration for Evidence-based Healthcare and Public Health in Africa (CEBHA+) is a 5-year project that aims to build long-term capacity and infrastructure for evidence-based healthcare and public health in sub-Saharan Africa, including primary research; evidence synthesis; and evidence-based policy-and-practice. It is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as part of the Research Networks for Health Innovation in Sub-Saharan Africa Funding Initiative. Network partners are based in South Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Malawi, Ethiopia and Germany. Research conducted as part of CEBHA+ focuses on screening for diabetes and hypertension, integrated models of care for diabetes and hypertension, population-level interventions to prevent diabetes and hypertension, and road traffic injuries.
CEBHA+ uses an integrated knowledge translation approach to facilitate the uptake of research in policy and practice. For more details click here
