The South African Cochrane Centre www.mrc.ac.za/cochrane and the CEBHC work collaboratively on a number of joint projects which include the conduct of relevant systematic reviews, promoting the use of best evidence and capacity development initiatives. Recognizing the mutual interests in the fields of research, education, training and knowledge translation on a long term basis; and the importance of the Institutions’ role in the promotion of international collaboration, and increased contribution to evidence-based health care; and, considering the already existing networks between the two Institutions, the two Centres have now entered into a formal Memorandum of Understanding.
